Foaling can be an intimidating process for many mare owners. We are happy to help with consultation and we also offer a foaling service. The foaling service includes a veterinarian monitoring and assisting when needed while your mare foals at our clinic. This service is often considered quite economical for the peace of mind  and assurance the process will go as smooth as possible. Our doctors are all competent with neonatal care as well as addressing maladjusted syndrome (dummy foals), failure of passive transfer (not getting enough colostrum), neonatal isoerythrolysis and many others. We have plasma available for plasma transfusions when needed, and commonly employ many other procedures like the Madigan foal squeeze, oxygen supplementation and overall supportive care.
