Micah Nelson, Assistant

Micah officially joined the Classic Equine team February 2023. She completed her BS in human biology at Michigan State University in 2020. Micah’s goal is to attend Veterinary school and become an Equine Veterinarian in northern Michigan. She loves all animals but has a special place in her heart for cats and horses. When she’s not working with us, Micah enjoys dancing, riding, reading, and spending time with her beloved black cat, Lucy. She also spends every Monday giving back to her community by volunteering for pediatric hippotherapy at Reining Liberty Ranch. She finds servicing both the northern Michigan and Grand Rapids communities rewarding and is happy to learn from and be apart of such a great veterinary team!
